How do we do this?
- By leading this industry for 16 years in a performance based way thanks to our "working hands." PMSI has always paid seven days a week per diem to attract and capture the finest talent in the country.
- Best paid supervision in the country - bar none. PMSI has never lost a valued supervisor to another company for pay. We seek out and employ the cream of the crop in boiler outage supervision and give them plenary responsibility at the site for millions of dollars of project money. We have empowered one project manager with more than $100 million of responsibility on a single job.
- Strict and absolute compliance with National Board and ASME on welding quality. Our QA/QC manager reports directly to the CEO. Our welding standards are derived and enforced by engineers. The competency with which we follow our QA/QC welding and the respect our field welding forces have for QA administration has enabled us to "self police" to keep welding quality our number one goal.
- Our reputation as the country's finest and largest contractor in the replacement of hot, reheat and main steam line is the result of our adherence to the code and its trickle down effect: "no rework." Our weld rejection rate for the past five years is less than 2%.
- We work only on power plants.
- We engineer, design, fabricate and install total turnkey SCR systems - both coal and gas fired. We perform all ASMEINBIC & AWS code welding with compliance. We adhere to all local and state certification and perform R-1 certification.
